Do Not Sell or Share My Information
Effective Date: July 3, 2026 Last Updated: July 3, 2026
Various U.S. state privacy laws—including, without limitation, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and similar consumer protection statutes in Texas, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and other jurisdictions—grant consumers specific rights to restrict or opt-out of the "sale", "sharing", or "processing for targeted advertising" of their personal information to third parties.
To satisfy the strict disclosure and naming mandates of these state frameworks, this page serves as ESTQ's official notice regarding consumers' rights to opt out of the sale, sharing, and processing of personal information where required under applicable law for all U.S. residents interfacing with ESTQ Inc. ("ESTQ", "we", "us", or "our") via estq.io (the "Site").
- We Do Not "Sell" Your Data: ESTQ Inc. never sells, rents, or leases your personal contact details, emails, or phone numbers to third-party data brokers, marketing pools, or list aggregators in exchange for monetary compensation. ESTQ also does not sell sensitive personal information as defined under applicable privacy laws.
- How We "Share" or "Disclose" Your Data: To fulfill the requests you make through our website tools (such as our online cost calculators or estimate request forms), we must route your contact details and project specifications to independent, third-party licensed Contractors matched through our platform so they can contact you and provide quotes. ESTQ shares personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, operate the Platform, support customer communications, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, maintain security, and improve Platform functionality.
Under the broad legal definitions used in several state privacy frameworks, transferring data to service providers or using analytical pixels could potentially be interpreted as "sharing", "disclosing", or processing data for "targeted cross-context advertising". We provide this opt-out mechanism to ensure absolute transparency and allow you to fully control your personal data.
1. Your Opt-Out Choices
If you are a U.S. resident and wish to exercise your statutory right to restrict ESTQ from selling, sharing, or disclosing your personal parameters, you may submit an opt-out request through the following methods:
Method A: Submit an Electronic Opt-Out Request
To formally request that your data be blocked from any future marketplace sharing, lead routing, or targeted distribution, please dispatch an email to our data compliance team with the subject line "State Privacy Opt-Out Request":
- Dedicated Privacy Email: [email protected]
To help us process and execute your request, please include the following parameters in your email:
- Your full name.
- The primary telephone number you utilized on our Site.
- The email address associated with your web inquiries.
- Your physical service address or ZIP code (to identify your state's specific statutory framework).
Note on Verification: We will utilize these parameters strictly to locate your profiles within our secure cloud systems and execute your opt-out. We may request additional verification steps if we cannot match your identity.
Method B: Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Browser Signals
ESTQ Inc. recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signals sent by your web browser. If our system detects an active GPC signal or automated privacy setting indicating your preference to block tracking, we will automatically treat that session as an explicit request to opt-out of non-essential tracking cookies and analytical pixels on estq.io.
Authorized Agent
Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of consumers where permitted by applicable law. ESTQ may require reasonable verification of the consumer's identity and the agent's authority before processing such requests.
2. Important Consequences of Opting Out
Please be aware that if you execute your right to opt-out of the sharing or processing of your personal information:
- Limitation on Service Requests: ESTQ will be technically unable to route your project profiles to matched Contractors. As a result, you will not be able to receive customized cost estimates, field inspections, or diagnostic scheduling through our automated marketplace.
- Retention for Legal Purposes: Even after an opt-out is executed, ESTQ may retain a residual, secure record of your historical transactions and explicit requests as strictly necessary to comply with state financial record-keeping laws, fraud-prevention audits, and to maintain a record of your opt-out preference. Certain anonymized, aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information may continue to be retained and used because it no longer identifies any individual consumer.
3. Applicable State Consumer Rights (CA, TX, FL, VA, CO, etc.)
Depending on your state of residence, your local laws may grant you additional standalone data privileges alongside this opt-out page, including:
- The Right to Know/Access: Requesting a copy of the specific data files we hold regarding your profile.
- The Right to Delete: Demanding that we permanently erase your personal information from our live active databases.
- The Right to Correct: Requesting swift updates to inaccurate contact information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: Where applicable law provides such right, consumers may request that ESTQ cease processing personal information for targeted advertising purposes.
- Right to Appeal: Where required by applicable law, consumers may appeal ESTQ's decision regarding a privacy request by contacting our Privacy Compliance Team.
To exercise any of these additional rights, please submit your request to [email protected] as detailed in Section 1.
4. Non-Discrimination
ESTQ will not discriminate against any consumer for exercising privacy rights under applicable law. Exercising privacy rights will not result in denial of services, different pricing, reduced quality of services, or other discriminatory treatment, except where the requested service cannot reasonably be provided without the requested information.
5. Identity Verification
To protect consumer privacy, ESTQ may require reasonable verification of identity before processing any request. ESTQ may deny requests that cannot reasonably be verified or that are otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
6. Governing Law
This Notice shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware to the extent not superseded by mandatory consumer privacy laws.
7. Updates
ESTQ may update this Notice from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, technology, or business practices. The revised version will become effective upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise required by law. The "Last Revised" date at the top of this Notice will indicate when changes became effective. For additional information regarding ESTQ's privacy practices, please review our Privacy Policy.
